Which door did you come through?
The decision was made for you
A restructure or an acquisition, and suddenly your role is gone. You're dealing with the loss and the search at the same time, and both want your full attention.
You've known for a while
Nobody is pushing you out. Still, you've known for a year that it's time to go, and you haven't moved. Part of the work is finding out what keeps you in place.
What we work on
What you want next
What drives you and what you won't do again. We start here, because a search aimed at the wrong target only gets you there faster.
How the market will read you
Your positioning, the story you tell about your career, and which doors are worth knocking on. Your CV and LinkedIn profile follow from that story.
The search
Using your network well, and preparing for senior interviews, where people mostly want to see how you think.
The money
Benchmarking your compensation and negotiating the offer. Where it applies, we also look at your exit package with an HR eye. I've handled many exits from the employer side, so I know what's usually open for discussion. Legal advice stays with your lawyer.
What changes
You leave with a clear target and a story that holds up in a final round with a CEO. When the offer comes, you'll know what to ask for and why.
How it works
We meet weekly, online, at a pace that fits your search and your timeline.
If your former employer offered to pay for support as part of your exit, they can. I invoice them directly, and what we discuss stays between us.
Not the right fit if you haven't led people yet, or if you only need a CV rewrite.

Common questions
My former employer offered to pay. Is that possible?
Yes. I invoice the company directly, and the content of our sessions stays between us.
Do you help with my CV and LinkedIn?
Yes, as part of the positioning work. A CV only works once you know which story it's telling, so we settle the story first.
Can you look at my exit agreement?
I can look at it from the HR side: what's standard and what's usually open for discussion. For legal advice you'll need an employment lawyer, and in the Netherlands employers often contribute to that cost.
I'm not sure I want to stay in leadership at all.
That's a good place to start. Some of my clients move into bigger roles, and others step out of management entirely. We work out which direction fits you.
