Where are you right now?
You've noticed, and you're keeping it quiet
Nobody at work knows, and you'd like to keep it that way while you deal with it. If you pay for coaching yourself, your employer hears nothing from me.
You can see it starting
In yourself, or in your team. You want to act before it costs someone their health.
You're on your way back
You've been off, you're getting better, and you want to return without undoing your recovery.
What we work on
Where your energy goes
We start with the Burnout Awareness Check, a proprietary questionnaire I developed from occupational psychology research. Its three parts look at what's raising your risk, how you're doing right now and how well you recover. It's a coaching tool: it gives us a clear place to begin, and it doesn't diagnose anything.
What you can hand over
Decision triage and delegation, so your attention goes to the decisions only you can make and the rest moves on without you.
Recovery that holds up at work
A recovery calendar and boundaries that survive a real workplace, including the weeks when everything is urgent.
Your team
Psychological safety and honest conversations about workload, so the pressure on you doesn't quietly become theirs.
Why me
I know how burnout gets made
I've spent almost 20 years inside companies, and I've watched burnout get made: restructures that double workloads overnight, and managers who confuse commitment with availability.
In addition, I recently completed an MSc in Psychology with a dissertation on burnout. So I know what the research says, and I know what it looks like on a Monday morning.
What changes
You'll know which patterns drain you and what you'll do differently. Next time, you'll notice early.
How it works
We meet weekly, online, at a pace that fits your energy.
If you're on sick leave in the Netherlands, coaching runs alongside your company doctor (bedrijfsarts) and your reintegration plan, and your employer can often pay for it. Whoever pays, we agree up front what gets reported back, and what we discuss stays between us.
Not the right fit if you need clinical support. In that case I can help you find the right professional, and coaching can come later or run alongside.

Common questions
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching looks forward and focuses on what you can change. If you need clinical support, I can help you find the right professional, and some clients work with a therapist and with me at the same time.
How do I know if I'm actually burned out?
Burnout usually shows up as exhaustion that rest doesn't fix, and a growing distance from work you used to care about. The Burnout Awareness Check gives us a clearer picture, though it doesn't diagnose. For a diagnosis, see your GP.
Will you tell me to quit my job?
No. My job is to help you work out what needs to change. Sometimes that's the job itself, and sometimes it's the story you tell yourself about what you owe your employer.
I'm on sick leave. Can we work together?
Yes, alongside your company doctor and your reintegration plan. Coaching supports your return; the medical side stays with them.
What will my employer hear?
Only what we agree up front. If you pay for coaching yourself, they hear nothing from me.
